Plastic Waste Management

Extended Producers Responsibility (EPR)

EPR for plastic waste management is a regulatory framework that makes producers, importers, and brand owners accountable for the collection, recycling, and safe disposal of the plastic packaging they introduce into the market.

As per the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 and its amendments, companies must register on the CPCB portal, set up collection systems, partner with recyclers, and meet annual EPR targets for reuse, recycling, and use of recycled content.

We believe that implementing EPR by an industry effectively is more than compliance—it is a strategic move to demonstrate environmental responsibility reduce long-term costs, and strengthen brand reputation. We play a strong role as consultants for helping the industries to position themselves as leaders in sustainability.

Guidance on Plastic recycling

Plastic recycling is the process of transforming discarded plastic into reusable materials, reducing the need for virgin plastic and minimizing the overall environmental impact. The execution involves a structured chain—collection of plastic waste, sorting at material recovery facilities, cleaning and shredding into flakes, followed by washing, separation, and finally reprocessing.

It is a strategic advantage. It lowers waste management costs, conserves energy, and enhances brand reputation by showcasing commitment to sustainability. It gives appeal to eco-conscious customers, highlights their role as leaders in responsible resource management.

Our vision to continuously support the industries to evolve as leaders in responsible resource management.
