Environmental Due Diligence (EDD) or Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) is the process of inquiring into environmental characteristics or other relevant conditions of a parcel of commercial real estate, usually in property transaction and assessing the current level compliance w.r.t. all the environmental attributes.
